Burton Rands Associates is an international consultancy focusing on security sector development, training, technical monitoring and evaluation, risk management and security consulting and analysis services. Burton Rands operates in post conflict environments and countries requiring stabilization and development. From offices in Washington DC, London, Juba (South Sudan) and Nairobi (Kenya), Burton Rands serves clients including US Government agencies, major US and UK government contractors, regional governments, and the private sector.

The company established a significant presence in Africa in mid 2006 concentrating on Sudan.  While Sudan has remained a major focus, we are operational throughout sub-Saharan Africa. Burton Rands has provided training teams as well as advisors and monitors in the DRC, Somalia, Ethiopia, Uganda and Guinea.  Burton Rands has a demonstrable record of capacity building and is committed to humanitarian codes of conduct.
